Magali Delrosa released her third album Mis Sueños on March 23 and the rising Tejano star spoke about her new disc and much more on the Tejano Nation podcast.

Pete Astudillo speaks on upcoming collaborations, new album in 2019

Tejano music legend Pete Astudillo will release a couple of collaborations and a new album in 2019.

The crooner shared the details on his plans for the new year during an exclusive interview with the Tejano Nation Radio podcast.

Astudillo plans to release a new take of a Mexican classic cumbia, “Por La Madrugada” with Sunny Sauceda this month, and an upcoming collaboration, “El Rey del Ritmo” with Erick Sanchez, frontman for Erick Y Massore, this spring.

The Tejano R.O.O.T.S. Hall of Famer will also release a new album, tentatively scheduled for mid-year.

The singer and songwriter also talked about his successful career that has spanned over 30 years and the next generation of stars in Tejano music.

After taking a few years away from music, Ilyssa Saenz has returned and she talks about her comeback while premiering hew new single, “Ayer” featuring David Lee Garza, on Tejano Nation Radio.

Ilyssa made a splash in the Tejano music scene in 2010 with her debut album "Estoy Contigo," which spawned a couple of hit singles, including the title track and “Te Amo.” The album’s success garnered her a nomination as Best New Female Artist at the 2011 Tejano Music Awards.

The 27-year-old singer took a short break from singing in order to pursue her college degree from the University of Texas – Pan American, followed by a career in teaching.

She gives all the details on her comeback and upcoming album to Romeo on the latest episode of the Tejano Nation Radio Podcast.

Lucy also talked about working in the studio with producer Lorenzo Banda, songwriting, her musical influences and her new publishing company, EdiLu Music Publishing, co-founded with Eduardo Gomez.

Megan Chapa talks ‘Si Una Vez’ cover, upcoming third album + more

After the success of her first two albums, rising Tejano star Megan Chapa is set to release her third album that will include a cover of “Si Una Vez” from Selena.

The Best New Female Artist nominee at the 2016 Tejano Music Awards gave Tejano Nation details on her upcoming third album, Desde El Principio, which will feature the biggest hits from her debut album Mi Diario and her latest Sueños Inquebrantables.

Chapa also talked about her cover of the 1995 classic hit from Selena, “Si Una Vez,” that she performed at the 2017 Fiesta De Flor Music Festival in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was hesitant at first to record it but did so after fans demanded a copy of her ranchera version.

Aisha has been a backup vocalist for many Tejano stars including Stephanie Lynn, Oscar G., Ram Herrera, and more, but now the 40-year-old singer is finally venturing on her own, releasing a few singles over the past year on the way to her debut album to be released before the end of the year.

The singer tells host Romeo about her musical influences, her upcoming debut album, and the debut of her remake of the classic mariachi hit from La Sombra “Como Quisiera,” produced by Gabriel Zavala.
