Light, fun, and full of sunshine — that’s the musical recipe Julian Escobedo is serving up to the world. His latest single, “No Worries, Just Sunshine,” is a reminder that life’s too short to be weighed down by stress and deadlines. Instead, Julian turns those daily pressures into fuel for positivity, letting his music speak as a mantra for joy and gratitude.
You know you’re in for a treat as soon as the music starts. Your toes start tapping, and before you know it, your kitchen becomes your dance floor. The track isn’t just a song — it’s an affirmation of lighthearted living, perfectly capturing Julian’s new outlook on life and artistry.

While Escobedo is a familiar name in Tejano music, this release marks his return with a refreshing country-inspired sound. After decades in the Tejano industry, Julian is blending his roots with a laid-back, cross-genre vibe that showcases both his versatility and his heart.
For many fans, Julian is best known for his 11-year run playing bass, singing background, and contributing as a writer and arranger for Grammy Award-winning Tejano and Country star Emilio Navaira. During his time with Emilio, he toured across the U.S. and performed internationally in Mexico, Canada, and Switzerland.
In his more than 30 years of professional performance, Julian has also backed some of the biggest names in the Tejano industry, including Bobby Pulido, Shelly Lares, and Patsy Torres, among others. Today, he continues as a freelance bassist and also performs as a solo singer and acoustic guitarist, delivering smooth English cover songs from the ’70s, ’80s, and beyond.
Now, as his own frontman, Julian is stepping into a new season of artistry. Alongside his wife, Melissa, he’s embracing a relaxed, no-pressure lifestyle, performing in intimate, fun venues and sharing music that reflects his current state of mind — peaceful, grateful, and free.
Beyond the sunshine vibes, Julian is also exploring the future of creativity — AI-driven music production. “It’s not easy, it’s a long process,” he admits, “but luckily I’ve done this for years, and I have an ear for music. This is just a new way of producing it.” After investing in a Mac and diving into AI composition, Julian uses the technology as an assistant rather than a replacement. The vocals remain 100% his — soulful, authentic, and unmistakably Julian.
Although he cites the late KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley as one of his greatest influences, Julian’s focus now is legacy. “I’m getting older, and I want to leave behind something that’s mine — not just what I did for someone else,” he shares.
That heartfelt mission comes to life in his upcoming album, Out of The Shadows, set to release the day after Thanksgiving. The record promises a blend of honesty, warmth, and versatility — with a sprinkle of Christmas spirit, touches of Spanish lyrics, and Julian’s signature authenticity shining through every note.
With No Worries, Just Sunshine now available on all streaming platforms, Julian Escobedo invites listeners to embrace the light, let go of worries, and dance their way into a brighter tomorrow.
