HOUSTON, TX — Tejano music legend Bobby Pulido continues commemorating three decades in the industry with the release of Bobby Pulido & Friends – Una Tuya y Una Mía (Volumen 2), released August 8 on all streaming platforms. Recorded live during Pulido’s unforgettable five-night concert series at Auditorio Cumbres in Monterrey, Mexico, in December 2024, the project showcases Pulido’s signature concept—pairing with renowned Latin music artists to perform one of their signature hits and one of his.

“It was all live,” Pulido told fans during a recent appearance on the Bean & Chisme podcast. “The concept is Bobby and friends—una tuya y una mía. So I would sing one of their songs with them, and they sing one of my songs with me.”

Volume Two features 16 high-profile collaborations, including duets with Jennifer PeñaDavid OlivarezEl Plan, and more. In the weeks leading up to the release, Pulido treated fans to music videos from the project—two per week—building anticipation for the album’s debut.

The new collection follows the May release of Volumen 1 via Fonovisa/Universal, which delivered 14 unforgettable collaborations with artists such as Alicia VillarrealBroncoDavid Bisbal, and a moving performance alongside his father, Tejano pioneer Roberto Pulido. Together, the two volumes form the musical centerpiece of Pulido’s Por La Puerta Grande farewell tour—an emotional, career-spanning tribute to his lasting influence on the Tejano genre.

“Every collaboration, every note, every moment on stage was recorded with all my heart,” Pulido shared in a video message. “I want you to experience it with me. Thank you for joining me in this final chapter. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it and sharing the stage with so many talented musicians and friends.”

While this release is part of his farewell tour, Pulido isn’t stepping away from music entirely just yet—he’s announced plans for one final studio album in 2026. In a surprising turn, he also revealed his next chapter will lead him into a career in public service in his home state of Texas, a way to give back to the community that embraced him from the very beginning.
