Award-winning Tejano singer Jennifer Peña is back with fresh music as she teams up with the renowned Colombian group Los Inquietos del Vallenato for a stunning new track titled “Nunca Niegues Que Te Amo.” This exciting release comes as fans eagerly await her highly anticipated solo project.
Peña shared her enthusiasm with her followers on social media, saying in Spanish, “My people, I know I’ve been telling you how excited I am about recording and soon sharing my new music, but in the meantime, I’ve got a special song with my friends from Los Inquietos del Vallenato. It’s called ‘Nunca Niegues Que Te Amo,’ and it’s available on all digital platforms now! I hope you enjoy it—this song is so contagious, with beautiful lyrics, and I made it with a lot of love. Stay tuned for more of my own music coming soon!”
The collaboration is part of the new album Vallenatos Norteños, a celebration of the vibrant musical cultures of Mexico and Colombia. This project blends the best of Vallenato with Norteño and Mexican Cumbia elements, creating a dynamic sound that showcases the deep connection between the two countries. Produced by Abelardo Rivera, José Luis Cornejo, Guillermo Mazorra, and Jair Alcalá, Vallenatos Norteños brings together iconic artists such as Jorge Celedón, Jean Carlos Centeno, Dubán Bayona, and Peter Manjarrés from the Vallenato scene, alongside Mexican stars like Ana Bárbara and Óscar Iván Treviño of DUELO. Jennifer Peña’s addition to the album adds another layer of excitement to this cross-cultural musical journey.
The production team expressed, “Vallenatos Norteños isn’t just an album; it’s a celebration of music’s power to unite and transcend borders. Our goal was to highlight the richness and similarities between these two cultures, and we believe this project will deeply resonate with audiences in Mexico, Colombia, and beyond.”
This collaboration marks the latest in Jennifer Peña’s musical resurgence. Following her 2024 collaboration with Grupo Siggno on “Cásate Conmigo” and her 2023 single “Fuerte,” which marked her return to music after a 16-year hiatus, Peña continues to captivate audiences with her powerful voice and emotional performances. Known for her iconic presence in the Tejano music scene, Jennifer’s return has been celebrated by fans eager for more.
