Genyva is an international singer and songwriter from Elsa, Texas, who has placed many songs on the radio charts. She is the founder of Tejanas Unidas En Cristo, the largest all female collaboration in Tejano Music History. The project has been recognized by the Governor of Texas and The House of Representatives.

Genyva recently received The Yellow Rose of Texas award given by the Governor of Texas to women who have made significant contributions to their communities. Genyva is a three-time mentor for Grammy U and a voting member of The Recording Academy.
