Delia Gonzales and Dee Burleson of Culturas opened up about their return to the stage after a hiatus of over 20 years and their new album, 92/24, in a recent interview with The Bo Corona Show.

Dee revealed to Bo Corona that the decision to make a comeback was made in a conversation with Culturas bandleader and Delia’s husband, Carlos Silva. He said, “Carlos called me, he and I were talking and we thought, yeah, you know what, we still got enough. We got another round and, yeah, it feels good to be on stage. And so we decided, yeah, let’s go ahead and do this.” This decision was made without Delia’s knowledge, who was later informed about the plan to release another CD.

Delia admitted she was hesitant for a return to the stage at first but eventually decided to give it another ride. She said, “I was very hesitant. Really was very hesitant. That’s when I decided, okay, you know, I, I guess I can do this one more, one more CD.” She also expressed her nervousness about live performances but was confident that things would work out.
