Bobby Pulido has recently found himself at the center of a rumor that has been circulating on social media for several weeks. The rumor suggested that the Latin Grammy winner was involved in a romantic relationship with Mexican reporter Javier Alatorre. Pulido has vehemently denied these allegations and has taken legal action against those responsible for spreading the rumor.

In a statement shared through his representative to Tejano Nation, Pulido said, “Those who know me know who I am, I’m a family man, and it’s unfair. I am taking legal action and offering a reward to anyone who can help us find whoever is responsible.”

This statement was reiterated in a Multimedios interview where he emphasized, “I hadn’t found out, I don’t know who Javier Alatorre is, I live in the United States. My PR (Public Relations) told me about this, besides, I like women not men. I already found out that there is a supposed Fernando JM, who is the one who leaked everything because he was very bored.

The false rumor, which has since been deleted, began over the last few days on social media that claimed the TV Azteca journalist and the “Desvelado” singer were lovers for many years, without giving more details or citing credible sources or even showing evidence. Pulido expressed his frustration with the false information being spread and emphasized his commitment to finding the person or persons responsible.

“I want to tell him that now it’s going to be trending because I’m offering a reward to find him because I’m going to sue him. It’s not worth it, I have a wife and four children and the truth is less when they are bored and want to cause harm,” he said.

Pulido, who has been a prominent figure in the Tejano music scene for nearly three decades, has consistently denied rumors about his sexual orientation over the years. He has always maintained that he is a family man, placing great importance on his family.

The singer discussed the ongoing gay rumors with Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame broadcaster “Rock N Roll James” Echevarria during an interview with the #PVT podcast last year. “It’s not true. Listen, I’ve got nothing against people that are gay, I ain’t one of them.”
