SAN ANTONIO, TX — In a career spanning over four decades, Jaime DeAnda has solidified his place as a master of the accordion and an innovator of the modern Tejano accordion style. Today, he takes a monumental step in his musical journey with the release of his first-ever solo album, “Volando Solo,” under the banner of NextGen Latinx Records.
“Volando Solo” is a testament to DeAnda’s rich musical heritage, showcasing his roots, influences, and unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of the Tejano genre. With each track, DeAnda invites listeners on a captivating sonic journey that seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.
The album’s lead single, “Dulce Para Amar,” is being unveiled to radio audiences along with the album’s announcement, offering a taste the long-awaited project.
Behind the scenes, “Volando Solo” boasts an all-star lineup of talent. Produced by Grammy Award winner Chente Barrera, the album was meticulously crafted at 45HQ Studios under the expert guidance of Grammy Award winner John Ontiveros, ensuring a polished and dynamic sound that captivates from the first note to the last.
