Latin Grammy-nominated Tejano artist David Lee Rodriquez has released his new single “Parece Que Has Venido”. This song is the first taste of what fans can expect from his soon-to-be-released album with M Group Music.

“Parece Que Has Venido” was penned by multi-award winner Danny Rodriguez and recorded and produced by multi-Grammy Award winner Gilbert Velasquez. The collaboration of these talented individuals has resulted in a track that showcases David Lee Rodriquez’s unique style and musical prowess.

“It’s a sad song,” Rodriquez tells Tejano Nation. “It’s about someone that has lost somebody and you want to see ’em and you want to hear ’em and at times you think you see ’em and you think you hear ’em pero they’re not actually there.”

He added the song is very relatable to those that have lost loved ones and received positive feedback for its message. “If I can reach one person, I’ve done my job,” said Rodriquez.

The upcoming album, which is his second, is eagerly awaited by fans and critics alike. The anticipation has been further fueled by the announcement that the album will feature a duet with a Tejano icon. The identity of this icon remains a closely guarded secret, adding an element of intrigue to the album’s release.

David Lee Rodriquez has already made a significant impact on the Tejano music scene with his debut album, Así Me Enseñaron, which received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Tejano Album in 2019. His sophomore album promises to build on this success and further establish him as a leading figure in the genre.

The release of “Parece Que Has Venido” marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in David Lee Rodriquez’s career. With the full album set to drop in March, fans won’t have to wait long to hear more from this talented artist.
