Online Voting for the 5th Annual Guadalupe Tejano Awards is Now Open

The Guadalupe Tejano Awards is a prestigious event that honors the best of the genre every year. The 5th edition of the awards will take place on November 19, 2023, at Far West, one of the most popular venues in San Antonio, Texas. The event will feature live performances from some of the most talented and beloved Tejano artists, such as Ram HerreraGrupo VidalLaura LindaConjunto Cats, and Christi Lux.

But before the big night, you have a chance to make your voice heard and vote for your favorite nominees in various categories, such as Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and more. Online voting is now available until October 15, 2023, and you can cast your ballot by visiting this link for a Google Docs form.

The Guadalupe Awards have recognized the best in Tejano each year since 2019. The event was created by veteran Tejano events promoter Andrew Belmarez and is dedicated to the life and heritage of his late mother Guadalupe M. Belmarez, who passed away in 2015. The awards aim to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Tejano artists who have enriched the musical landscape with their talent and passion.
