Emerging Latin artist Gabriella Martinez premiered the official music video for the romantic cumbia “Con La Mirada” featuring Grupo Asalto on Friday (July 14).
“Con La Mirada” is a Spanish version of the 2007 Jonas Brothers hit song “When You Look Me In The Eyes,” which was translated by singer-songwriter Frankie J and produced by Mariano Herrera and El Dusty.

“This song was so much fun to do,” Gabriella tells Tejano Nation. “I’m really happy that Frankie J gave me the green light because this song honestly isn’t my typical style of Cumbia, but I don’t want to put myself in a box, I want to try everything.”

“’Con La Mirada’ is a love song and it is so bright to me,” added Gabriella. “Every time I listen to it, I get so happy because of the warm feeling it gives.
This is the third single from Gabriella’s highly-anticipated sophomore album with GT Digital, which is scheduled for release later this year. “Con La Mirada” from Gabriella Martinez featuring Grupo Asalto is available to stream or download on all digital music platforms.
