Denver, CO – In homage to the “Queen of Tejano Music,” the Colorado Symphony under the direction of resident conductor Christopher Dragon brings the iconic music of Selena Quintanilla to life backed by a full, world-class symphony orchestra and featuring sensational soloist Isabel Marie Sánchez at Boettcher Concert Hall on March 31 and April 1, 2023.
An acclaimed recording artist, vocalist, and experienced performer, Isabel Marie
returns to the Boettcher Concert Hall stage in The Music of Selena. The 19-year-old award-winning singer recently earned a Best Tejano Album nomination for the 23rd annual Latin Grammys with her latest EP release, Una Ilusión. Isabel Marie won Best New Female Artist at the Tejano Music Awards in 2017 after the success of her debut album, New Girl In Town. She added Top Female Artist at the My Tejano Awards in 2019. She has a total of five successful albums and many hit songs over her career.

Sánchez and the Colorado Symphony will celebrate the life and enduring
legacy of Selena while performing iconic hits like “Dreaming of You,” “Como
la Flor,” “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “No Me Queda Más” and “I Could Fall in Love” in this unforgettable and emotional tribute to “The Queen of Tejano Music.”
