LUBBOCK, TX — Jesse Turner of Grupo Siggno features his accordion skills on many chart-topping hits for the Grammy-winning band and he shared some of that knowledge with a young fan in Lubbock, Texas, this week.

Turner ran into Siggno fan CJ on the streets of “Hub City” and signed the aspiring accordionist’s instrument, but not before showing the young musician a few pointers with the squeezebox.

Video of the meeting was shared by Turner on Instagram with the caption, “Best of luck to you CJ. Mis mejores deseos para ti CJ. I’m rooting for you and I’m your first fan. Tu puedes. Suerte y Bendiciones, Tu Nuevo Amigo, Jesse del Grupo Siggno.”

The Siggno frontman always makes time to interact with fans no matter where he may be. Turner recently surprised a fan during an encounter at a gas station when he noticed her listening to Siggno music in her vehicle.

Siggno is currently on their Ayer Y Hoy Tour 2023 and are recording music for their highly-anticipated next album.

Siggno is an award-winning, chart-topping Tejano band from Santa Rosa, Texas, which released their debut album Al Principio in 2001. The group, known for their unique Rockteño sound, was nominated for Latin GRAMMYS in 2020 including Best Tejano Album for Pelicula Vol. 1 and Best Regional Song with “#Hashtag.” They won a Latin Grammy for Best Norteño Album with Six Pack in 2008.
