The highly-anticipated debut album from Gary Hobbs with legendary record label Freddie Records will be released at the end of the month. Hobbs made the announcement via social media that Sin Fin is due out on December 30, 2022.

Hobbs wrote six to seven songs for the long-awaited album which contains 12 tracks and will feature the signature sound of “El Borrado del Eagle Pass.”

“But music is always changing, something that we have been putting down on the last CD, and into this one, our cumbias are very Gary Hobbish slash maybe Reggaeton lite and that’s sounding really well for us,” said Hobbs in a recent interview with La Voz 93.3 FM. “I’m liking it so much. We have a couple of cumbias like that, of course, we have our Tejano stuff…we’re pumped.”

Hobbs mentioned on his Hanging With Gary podcast, the album will also feature a duet with a Tejano legend. “We have two songs written by the Freddie Martinez Sr. Just to let the cat out of the bag, I shouldn’t, but I’m blessed and graced that I’m going to collaborate a song with Don Freddie Martinez Sr. What a pleasure, what an honor. I’m going to treasure that one. He’s an icon, a living legend, he really is.”

The album’s lead single is “Que Daria,” a mid-tempo Tejano cumbia with a hooky sing-along chorus and an inspiring vocal performance by Hobbs.

Sin Fin will be available on all digital music platforms on Dec. 30, it’s the first album from Hobbs since the release of Lo Que Amo in 2019.

Gary Hobbs began his career in Tejano music in 1983 and over the years he has released some of the most memorable songs in Tejano music including “Las Miradas”, “Amame y Bésame”, “Te Vas A Acordar” and “Por Favor Corazón” to name just a few. His history of hit records, gold and platinum awards, industry achievements, humanitarian contributions, and hard work is legendary.
