MIAMI — Just in time for the holidays, Lupita Infante delivers an enchanting twist on the classic Christmas song. Infante recorded a version of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” in English and Spanish, “Te Deseo Muy Felices Fiestas.”
Produced by Carlos Álvarez, Infante’s Spanish rendition is accompanied by mariachi, an array of different Regional Mexican instruments, and a 12-stringed guitar prevalent in sierreño. Her rich vocals are the perfect match for this holiday tune and will make a great addition to Christmas playlists.
“I love Christmas music because I think it’s an essential part of the holiday season. That’s why I decided to record this song, which is one of the most classic and famous Christmas songs. And of course, I had a blast creating my own versions infusing mariachi in both English and Spanish,” said Lupita Infante.
