Jay Perez, & Ram Herrera lead Awards nominations

 Jay Perez, and Ram Herrera received the most nominations for the 4th annual Guadalupe Production Awards, announced by the Guadalupe Productions Awards Committee on October 21.

Lopez led all nominees with four nominations including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Tejano Group of the Year with Mazz. Perez and Lopez received three nominations in the same categories of Male Vocalist, Song, and Album.

Winners for the 4th annual Guadalupe Production Awards will be announced during a live ceremony at Mi Mercado Hall in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, November 19, 2022. The event will feature live performances from Madison PulidoGrupo ImagenTristan RamosTejano Highway 281, and Da Krazy Pimpz.

The Guadalupe Awards have recognized the best in Tejano each year since 2019 including outstanding performers, songs, productions, and more categories. The event was created by veteran Tejano events promoter Andrew Belmarez and is dedicated to the life and heritage of his late mother Guadalupe M. Belmarez, who passed away in 2015.

Tickets are available at the door for $20 before 8:00 p.m. and $25 after. Table reservations are available, call 830-401-9228 for details. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Mi Mercado Hall is located at 227 New Laredo Highway in San Antonio.
