My Tejano Awards returns to recognize the past and present

MISSION, TX — The annual My Tejano Awards will honor the past and present of Tejano music for their outstanding achievement and contributions at the Mission Event Center in Mission, Texas on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

The event, presented by the Tejano Music Hall of Fame Awards, will feature appearances and performers and recognize the best of South Texas, including La 45Shelly LaresLucky JoeRuben RamosSunny SaucedaJay PerezJoe LopezLa Fiebre, and more.

Awards will be given in 14 categories including Album of the Year, Male and Female Vocalists, Top Collaboration, Top Video, Gone But Not Forgotten, Lifetime Achievement, and more.

My Tejano Awards will feature tributes to two late Tejano legends, Jessy Serrata and Joe Bravo.

The event will occur at the Mission Event Center, located at 200 N. Shary Road in Mission, Texas. General admission tickets are priced at $20 with reserved tickets for $25 and VIP tickets priced at $35.
