Mike Gonzalez opens up about final conversation with Jimmy Gonzalez

Mike Gonzalez shared the final conversation he had with his father Jimmy Gonzalez before the Tejano legend passed away in June 2018. The conversation is a preview of a full interview with Fierro HD afternoon host Bo Corona.

In the audio shared with Tejano Nation, Mike talks about the emotional conversation with his father after a show in Bryan, Texas. The last performance for the Mazz co-founder with his son as drummer days before the death of the Tejano icon from complications of diabetes.

Jimmy Gonzalez is remembered as a pioneer, icon, and one of the most influential artists in Tejano music leading Grupo Mazz to multiple Grammy Awards and Latin Grammy Awards.
