Elida Reyna doesn’t need glasses or contacts anymore after receiving LASIK eye surgery on Tuesday (Aug. 29).
The Latin Grammy winner was excited about the surgery at Thurmond Eye Associates in Edinburg, Texas, according to a post on her personal Facebook page.
“I can’t believe that after all these years I’m finally getting Lasik Surgery!! A huge Thank you to Thurmond Eye Associates and Dr. Bentley and all the amazing staff!! Will keep u posted!”
Elida’s husband Lalo Reyna posted photos to his Facebook page during the surgery.
“Elida did amazing!! I hope she still wants me in the morning when she sees 20/20. Big shout out to Dr. Bentley and all the staff at Thurman Eye associates! Their hospitality was top notch.”
Lalo later commented that Elida was in a little discomfort after the eye surgery, but the process from start to finish took 10 minutes. Each eye took 10 seconds to fix or adjust.
LASIK is a surgical procedure that uses a laser to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and/or astigmatism.
