There are many online resources available to those trying to reunite lost pet with their rightful owners following Hurricane Harvey.
One of those resources is Texasfloodpets.com.
Texasfloodpets.com allows people from devastated areas to upload photos of lost and found pets. In addition, users fill out information such as where the animal was last seen or is currently located, the animal's breed and other identifying information to help reconnect animals with their owners.
Founder Jay Pennington began a similar service for the San Antonio area 14 years ago - http://www.sapets.com/.
However, due to the catastrophe incurred by others in Texas following Hurricane Harvey, be began a new initiative - Texasfloodpets.com - specifically focused on reconnecting animals and people separated during the storm. It's a free service for all users.
Another resource available is a Facebook group called Hurricane Harvey - ALL lost & found pets that shows more than a dozen displaced pets that have been reunited just within the Corpus Christi area. This includes Includes: Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, Agua Dulce, Robstown, Bishop, Driscoll, Banquete, Aransas Pass, Petronila, Chapman, Ranch, Portland, Violet, Rabb, McNorton, Clarkwood, Flour Bluff Junction, Peary Place, Nueces, Gardendale, Arlington Heights, Five Points, Bluntzer, Mustang Beach, Flour Bluff, Viola and Calallen, according to the group.
