SAN ANTONIO, TX — The anticipation is building as the 7th Annual Guadalupe Tejano Awards has officially revealed its Top 5 nominees in each category, recognizing the finest in Tejano and Conjunto music. Fans are encouraged to cast their votes in this second and final round of voting, which closes Sunday, November 9 at 5 p.m. Winners will be announced at the highly anticipated Awards Ceremony on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Mustang Sally’s in San Antonio, Texas. Doors open at 5 p.m., and pre-sale tickets and table reservations are now available for what promises to be an unforgettable evening celebrating community and musical excellence.
Since its inception in 2019, the Guadalupe Awards have honored artists, musicians, and industry figures who represent the heart and heritage of Tejano and Conjunto music. Founded by veteran promoter Andrew Belmarez, the event is dedicated to the life and legacy of his late mother, Guadalupe M. Belmarez, whose name and spirit continue to inspire the celebration of cultural pride and artistic achievement.
This year’s list of nominees features an incredible mix of established icons and emerging talent, with several artists earning multiple nominations across key categories.

Among the top contenders:
- Marcos Orozco and his band Grupo Rebelde stand out with nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year, Tejano Band of the Year, “A Cambio De Que” for Single of the Year, and recognition for multiple band members, including Juanito Guajardo (Keyboard Player), Gabriel Barajas (Drummer), and Rick Vega (Bass Player).
- Jay Perez also shines with several nods, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Tejano Band of the Year, Single of the Year for “Incompetente En El Amor,” and Keyboard Player of the Year for Eric Avalos.
- Lucky Joe earns strong recognition with nominations for Accordionist of the Year, Tejano Norteño Band of the Year, and Single of the Year with “A.M.O.”
- Stefani Montiel leads among female artists with nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year, Female Entertainer of the Year, and a nod for her producer Gabriel Zavala in Keyboard Player of the Year.
- Other notable multi-nominees include Jerry Peña (Songwriter of the Year, Male Vocalist, Conjunto of the Year with Los Arcos Hermanos Peña*), Ram Herrera, Elida Reyna, and Blaze Brothers, who continue to make their mark across several categories.
