Rodriquez’s return to Tejano music marks a triumphant and emotional homecoming. In an exclusive statement to Tejano Nation, Rodriquez shared the personal inspiration behind his comeback.
“We are very excited about the new release! We decided to try a different take on our music, adding a Regional touch to it while keeping it Tejano,” he said. “I had taken a break from music to care for my Dad, who passed away in April, but I promised to keep his legacy alive. We’re hoping to make a strong comeback, working on our third release which will actually feature my Dad on the trumpet.”
