Jenny B, a rising star in the Tejano music scene, has unveiled the music video for “Mujer Sensual,” the title track from her debut Tejano album. In an exclusive interview with Tejano Nation Radio host Romeo, Jenny B shared insights into the making of the video and the inspiration behind it.

“I just wanted to give something that was sexy, but, you know, kind of mysterious. And I feel like we really covered that. It was a lot of fun to shoot,” Jenny B said. The video was directed by D Green, who is currently on a world tour. “The fact that he was able to pull away to do this favor for me was amazing,” she added.

The video was filmed at the iconic San Antonio venue, 1902, formerly known as Sunset Station. This historic location holds special significance as it was also the site for the “No Me Queda Mas” music video by the late Latin music icon Selena Quintanilla-Perez. “They’re so sweet and allowing us to shoot the music video there. It’s just such a beautiful, historic place. So, it was cool because everyone’s like, oh, that’s the staircase of Selena,” Jenny B shared.

Jenny B praised her stylist, Anna Ovalle, who created the outfits for the singer and the dancers featured in the video. “It was really a great project, honestly, one that I’m super proud about. I wanted to present to women that no matter what, you’re still beautiful and you can be who you want to be,” she said.

“Mujer Sensual” is the title track for Jenny B’s debut album, which marks a significant milestone in her music career. “This is my very first album. I’ve done singles and an EP, but to do a whole album was quite scary for me. I want people to be like, well, who’s Jenny B? What is Jenny B? And I feel like the album explains exactly everything from how I love as a mujer sensual or as a woman myself and how I hate and how I can fight,” Jenny B explained.

Jenny B is a third-generation performer, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, father, and uncles, who formed the popular Tejano band of the 1990s, Los Agues. Known for her fusion of Tejano, pop, and R&B music, as well as her glamorous style and charismatic personality, Jenny B has been compared to Selena Quintanilla, one of her biggest inspirations.

With the release of “Mujer Sensual,” Jenny B is set to make a lasting impact on the Tejano music scene. Be sure to check out the music video and experience the sensual and mysterious vibes that Jenny B brings to her debut album.
