Destiny Navaira is back with release of ‘Me Da Gusto’ single

MONTERREY, Mexico –Destiny Navairahas released her latest single “Me Da Gusto” and the official music video for the catchy ranchera reminiscent of classic Tejano and Norteño sounds. It’s the lead single from the award-winning singer’s highly-anticipated solo sophomore album scheduled for release in April 2022.

“I have been waiting to release this new music since late 2019,” said Navaira. “I loved my first album and the singles that came from it, but this one hits different.”

Following the success of her critically-acclaimed debut solo albumLa Preferida, released in 2020, her latest single has already racked up over 15,000 views on YouTube while being featured on numerous Regional Mexican playlists on Spotify and Apple Music.

“I am excited to let the music speak for itself,” said Navaira. “If the fans like the sound of ‘Me Da Gusto’, they are going to love the sound of the rest of the album.”

As the next generation of the Navaira musical family, she is the daughter ofRaulito Navairaand niece of late Tejano iconEmilio Navaira, Destiny is humbled by the overwhelming response since her decision to record solo projects.

After being named “Best New Female Artist” at the 2016Tejano Music Awards, Navaira is now nominated for “Best Female Artist” for the upcoming 41st annual Tejano Music Awards in December.

“It is an honor to be nominated again and to be in such good company on the ballot, it makes it that much better,” added Navaira.
