“A charismatic storyteller and expressive and relative songwriter and an aspiring singer who was full of life but cut short by this deadly uncompassionate nor remorseful Delta Strand harbored by the Covid-19 virus,” read the message on the fundraiser page.
The family is asking for assistance in helping to fund his final expenses and help continue where he left off and make his dream project a reality by releasing his album and commercial single to be shared with the world.
The Forever Project will be a collection of songs written by Gallegos over the years and will be available to his fans, friends, and loved ones.
The benefit memorial will be held at Sir Winston’s Pub, 2522 Nacogdoches in San Antonio on Sunday, August 15, 2021 beginning at noon. Proceeds from the $10 chicken and sausage plates and silent auction will go to the family for final expenses and fund Gallego’s Forever Project.
