Carlos P. Garciareleased his debut single, “Vete Ya,” on Monday (Dec. 17).
The song, written by Garcia, is an upbeat progressive Ranchera with traditional brass sound and features the vocal presence of the 2018Tejano Idolwinner.
Garcia won the annual singing competition, held by theAustin Tejano Music Coalition, in October and is now signed withDiscos Solcar.
“Vete Ya” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Solcar Recording Studios by Carlos Rodriguez and features guest musicians including guitarist Matthew “Riff-Raph” Luna, keyboardist Eric “E-Rock” Avalos, drummer Chris “The Beast” Rodriguez and accordionist Carlos “The J.O.A.T” Rodriguez. It will be available soon at all digital music platforms.
