Young Tejano artist Tristan Ramos has been released from the hospital, just days after emergency brain surgery.

An update was posted about the young musician on his Facebook page on Tuesday, “Tristan is recovering very fast, thanks to God, and thanks everyone for all your prayers. He has now been released from the hospital and is at home doing well. Thanks again for all your continued prayers.”

The 12-year-old accordionist and singer underwent emergency brain surgery over the weekend. His father, Jason Ramos, posted the news on the musician’s Facebook page on Sunday night.

“Hello everyone, this is Tristan’s dad. I just thought I would give everyone an update on what has happen to Tristan’s health in the past few days. He was having several severe headaches and wasn’t himself for a while. After several ER visits, we rushed into immediate brain surgery. With God and all the prayers, along with the best doctors and family, he is now doing well and recovering great. All we ask is please keep Tristan in your prayers as he continues through his road of recovery.”

Tristan released a music video for his second single, “Muevelo” featuring Eddie Jimenez of Da Krazy Pimpz, in October and was planning to release his debut album soon, but that may be on hold for now.
