The group performed at the Texas Throwdown concert in Houston, Texas on June 23 at Tumbleweeds. The event was hosted by Puro Tejano 101.7 FM, Houston’s newest Tejano radio station. Fans were treated to Mazz hits sung by the group’s backup vocalist Daniel Ortiz with additional vocals from Di Marie, a Best New Female nominee at the 2015 Tejano Music Awards.

Mazz plans to pay tribute to Gonzalez at future performances. The group has not released an official statement for the future of Grupo Mazz, but Tejano Nation will have more details as they become available.
