Megan Chapa released the official music video for her new single “Maltradada,” and it’s an adventure into tough times but gets resolved with a little help of super teamwork.
“This video, you have to be really open-minded about it,” Megan said in a recent Facebook Live video. “It’s going to be a fun video and what we call cosplay, like costume play.”
The video, filmed and edited by Jerod Johnson and Ram Castor, features Megan and three young girls, who dream about rescuing the singer as superheroes after she was kidnapped by thugs.
“Basically, it’s about us women, or people in general have crazy dreams or crazy thoughts sometimes,” Megan added. “You know it’s every woman’s dream to protected by a superhero or be a superhero and to kick ass.”
“Maltrada” is the latest single released from Megan’s sophomore album, Suenos Inquebrantables, that debuted in the top 10 if the iTunes Latin Albums chart just 24 hours after its release in January 2017.
