The annual festival that celebrates San Antonio’s love for the traditional coupling of fresh barbacoa and sweet Big Red has earned its right as an Alamo City staple popular enough to have an event held in its honor.
The fun starts at 10 a.m. at the R&J Music Pavilion, 18086 Pleasanton Road, inside Loop 1604, and will go until 8:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Pre-sale tickets are $6 for general admission and $12 for VIP can be purchased online at PurplePass.com. Tickets bought at the door will be $10 general admission and $15 for VIP, children 12 years old and under are free.
