HOUSTON – Siggno and Banda El Recodo broke the all-time paid Rodeo/Concert attendance  during Go Tejano Day at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Sunday (March 19).

Officials said 75,557 fans came out to watch the two bands in concert.

“Today we broke the record in Houston, Texas at the Houston Rodeo,” Siggno frontman Jesse Turner posted a video on Facebook early Monday morning for fans. “We didn’t do it alone, we did it with Banda El Recodo…I’ll tell you more about it tomorrow, when I wake up. But, for now, I love you. I’m always your friend.”

It broke the previous record set last year by Banda Los Recoditos and Los Huracanes Del Norte with 75,508 fans in attendance.

Currently, five “Go Tejano Day” performances hold spots in the Show’s Top 10 paid Rodeo/Concert attendance records taking the first, second, third, fourth, and seventh spots.
