CORPUS CHRISTI – Siggno announced they will be part of the lineup for the first concert series in the 25-year history of Rodeo Corpus Christi during a press conference at the American Bank Center on Tuesday.

“It’s an honor for us,” Siggno lead singer Jesse Turner said. “They’ve been doing Buc Days for 25 years and they’ve never had music. This is going to be something huge for us and we promise that we’re going to make it big, we’re going to do something special.”

“We’re trying to expose new audiences… we want to reach everybody in the community and make this an event everybody can enjoy,” Buccaneer Commission President and CEO Johnny Philipello said. “We’re bringing the same caliber of entertainment as rodeos in other markets.”

The concert series will kick-off with country singer Dwight Yoakum on April 27, followed by country singer Aaron Watson on April 28, Texas country singer William Clark Green on April 29 and Siggno on April 30. The one-hour concerts will follow two hours of rodeo activities each day.

The announcement comes just weeks after the band was confirmed to play Go Tejano Day at Rodeo Houston on March 19, the first Tejano band to perform during Rodeo Houston in many years.

Season tickets are available online at www.BucDays.com. Individual tickets ranging from $15-48, will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on March 1.
