Avizo will honor legendary figures such as Jimmy EdwardJoe BravoJimmy GonzalezSteve JordanJessy SerrataAlfonso Ramos, and Emilio Navaira with the “Desaparecidos Medley” from their latest album Amigos y Familia. The medley includes the songs “La Piris Wiris,” “La Tejanita,” “La Patita de Conejo,” “Un Cielo,” “Que Bonita Fuera,” “Quisiera,” and “Memories.”

Avizo bandleader Robert Dorantes shared with Tejano Nation, “It’s really a great honor. A lot of these guys, except for Steve Jordan, we knew them personally. To be able to do this, it’s such a blessing, and trying to keep their memory alive.” He added, “The medley that I put together, I wanted to do something, of course, for my father-in-law, Joe Bravo. A little tribute to him and some of the artists that I grew up with, artists that we backed up and like, well, we just wanted to do some of their bigger hits, but we just put them on together. So that’s ‘Desaparecidos Medley’.”
