Just days after the shocking announcement of their official retirement, the five sisters from Houston, Texas, known as Las Fenix, have revealed the date for their final concert. The beloved Tejano group will take the stage one last time for “El Último Vuelo” in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, December 29th at the Majestic Theatre.

The group shared the heartfelt news of their retirement via social media on November 11, stating in Spanish, “We share this video made with lots of love. A thousand thanks to everyone for so many unforgettable moments and memories. We will always carry them in our hearts.” In the video, the sisters expressed their gratitude in Spanish, saying, “Music has been a part of our lives for more than 25 years, but each beginning has an end. First of all, thank you so much to God, our parents, our family, our husbands, and all of you for your unconditional support. Thank you so much for allowing us to make the stage our home and share so many unforgettable moments.”

They continued, “And especially, thank you to our parents. Your unconditional support throughout our career was fundamental to be able to follow our dreams and reach our goals. Only we as a family know all the effort and all the sacrifices that were necessary to get our hands on this music industry. We love you and we will be eternally grateful. To all of our followers who shared photos, videos, our music, to each and every one of you who attended one of our presentations, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so, so much. And to all of our close friends who contributed in one way or another to our career, thank you so much.”

The sisters emphasized the unbreakable bond that music has created for them, stating, “Thanks to music, we have an unbreakable bond, and nothing or no one can take that away from us. We will always carry music with us. And the beautiful memories. The time has come to say goodbye to the stage. With a lot of peace in our hearts, we announce our official retirement. There are not enough words to express our gratitude, and first of all, thank you so much for your understanding, and know that we always carry you in our hearts. And for the last time, a kiss. With a lot of love, your friends, Las Fenix.”

Tickets for the final concert from Las Fenix, “El Último Vuelo”, will go on sale this Friday, November 15th, at majesticempire.com. The group added, “Join us for this special day! See you there!"
