SAN ANTONIO, TX — The San Antonio Spurs are set to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night, presented by Estrella Jalisco, on Saturday, Nov. 2, as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7 p.m. This special night pays homage to Hispanic Heritage Month’s official 2024 theme, “Shaping the Future, Together,” and promises an evening filled with cultural pride and community spirit.
One of the highlights of the night will be a live performance by Tejano music star Stefani Montiel. Known for her vibrant energy and passionate performances, Stefani will take the stage during pregame, halftime, and postgame as part of the ULTRA Overtime Concert Series.
Expressing her excitement on social media, Stefani shared, “I’m beyond thrilled and honored to announce that my band and I have been asked to perform at the San Antonio Spurs game this Saturday, November 2, for Hispanic Heritage Night! This is going to be such an unforgettable night as we bring the energy, pride, and passion of Tejano music to the big stage, celebrating our incredible culture with all the Spurs fans! This is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of who we are. I can’t wait to feel the love and pride with all of you! ¡Arriba La musica Tejana, y Viva Los Spurs!”
The celebration will kick off with a pregame Día de los Muertos Fest starting at 5 p.m. in the ULTRA Club. The first 1,000 fans to enter will receive a custom Hispanic Heritage Night T-shirt, courtesy of Estrella Jalisco. Fans can also enjoy giveaways and free samples of Estrella Jalisco’s La Cerveza Oficial from the “Estrella Troca,” a custom-branded vehicle located within the ULTRA Club.
Additionally, fans can purchase a special jersey ticket package that includes a one-of-a-kind Spurs Hispanic Heritage jersey, available in various sizes on a first-come, first-served basis. A portion of the proceeds from this package will benefit Spurs Give in their efforts to support the Hispanic community.
The night will also feature a Community Altar where fans can honor their loved ones by bringing a photo to display. In return, they will receive a special Spurs giveaway item, while supplies last. Spurs Give will honor four local trailblazers through their Leaders and Legacies award series, presented by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, recognizing their dedication to social justice, equality, and civil rights in the San Antonio community. In honor of the award recipients, Spurs Give will make a $20,000 donation to the Mexican American Civil Rights Institute (MACRI).
