Ranch Road Band is a San Antonio-based award-winning Americana-Tex-Country band currently working on new music that is Tejano inspired. In a recent interview on the popular TV show Domingo Live, frontman Ryan Edwards revealed to co-hosts Rudy Trevino and Barbi Leo that the band is working on incorporating a Tejano twist into their new material.

“The music, the music, that’s it. I mean, this is what we do. We live, we breathe it,” Edwards passionately stated when asked about what keeps the band going. He acknowledged the challenges but emphasized that the love for music makes it all worthwhile. “It comes easy, even the hard things. Everything else just goes away once you step on the stage.”

Edwards provided a sneak peek into the band’s future projects, mentioning that they are currently working on some Tejano-inspired tracks. “We are working on some Tejano stuff coming up pretty soon. And we also got some new stuff that we’re doing with Siro Music out of the valley. We’re going to be recording some brand new stuff,” he said.

The band already has an album in the works, set to drop in the next two months. Edwards described the upcoming album as a blend of old-school Tejano and country styles, with a unique twist. “It’s a little bit of old school Tejano, a little bit of stuff that we put together, old school melodies that we turned country style, or just brought it back.”

Additionally, the band is planning a big production release around Halloween, though details remain under wraps. Edwards hinted at the roots of this project coming from Poteet and gave a shout-out to Los Musicales. “We keep writing as we go along. We just try to keep it fresh, try to keep it fun, and try to keep our fans and people who come out to see us guessing what we’re going to do every time.”

With their dedication to music and innovative approach, Ranch Road Band is set to surprise and delight fans with their upcoming Tejano-inspired tracks. Stay tuned for more updates on their exciting new projects!
