A viral video circulating on social media shows a heated discussion between the Memorial Weekend Bash event coordinator and award-winning singer Jennifer Peña, along with her team. This incident occurred shortly after Peña’s performance on Sunday night in Victoria, Texas.
According to KlubTejano.com, Clara Ramos, the president and founder of the non-profit organization MAJICA and the President of the Crossroads Fallen Heroes, has been working with Salazar Promotions on the Memorial Weekend Bash for 17 years. She is responsible for the financial aspects of the event. Ramos confirmed to KLUB Tejano that there were no hidden cameras during the discussion.
The video, originally shared by Ramos on social media but later deleted, was quickly picked up and shared by others. In the video, Ramos can be heard referring to Peña as “a greedy comeback kid” and accusing her of being sneaky. The dispute arose when Peña’s management allegedly asked for more money than the $5000 originally agreed upon in a verbal contract with promoter Frank Salazar.
Ramos claimed that Peña’s management requested additional funds after learning that A.B. Quintanilla Y Los Kumbia Allstarz would no longer be performing at the event. Tejano Nation reached out to Salazar Promotions for a comment on the situation but has not yet received a response.
