The Latin Breed, one of the most iconic and influential bands in Tejano music history, has released their first-ever live concert album today. The album, titled Live, Vol. 1 from Milwaukee 2022, is available on all digital music platforms and the M Group website.

The album captures the electrifying energy and musical prowess that The Latin Breed is renowned for, as they perform a mix of their classic hits and new material in front of a passionate crowd at the Mexican Fiesta in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The album is a testament to The Latin Breed’s enduring appeal and their ability to captivate audiences with their dynamic performances.

“The Latin Breed is based off of a lot of jazz theory, blues, and rock. It is infused into our music and it’s always been that way,” said Charlie Rodriguez, bandleader of The Latin Breed. “The founder, Rudy Guerra, in 1969 that was his whole goal was to bring Tejano music, or Chicano music what it was called back then, to the next level, and we’re blessed that The Latin Breed has been able to stay there and every recording we feel has to be better than the next but we’re here just keeping the tradition going.”

The album is the first release from The Latin Breed’s new record label, M Group, which is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Tejano music. M Group is also home to other legendary artists such as Ruben Ramos, Little Joe, and David Marez.

Live, Vol. 1 from Milwaukee 2022 is not just a collection of live performances. It’s a celebration of The Latin Breed’s musical journey, their connection with their fans, and their enduring impact on the music scene. The album is a must-have for any The Latin Breed fan and a testament to the band’s lasting legacy.
