Asalto, the rising Tejano band from West Texas, has officially terminated their relationship with Tesoro Entertainment, which recently merged with JT Entertainment, a management company owned by Jesse Turner of Siggno, and their affiliates. The band cited a major change in business strategy as the reason for the split.

“The Asalto entity has ended our professional association due to a major change in business strategy and due to this change, it is necessary for the trajectory of Asalto and its music,” according to a press release.

“These kinds of decisions aren’t always the easiest to make, but when it’s for the better of the band, you have to do what is best,” said Jordan Rodriguez, leader of Asalto. “I’m beyond grateful to have the musicians that I have standing next to me. God works in mysterious ways but he never fails us! This is just another chapter in our book and I’m ready to start writing it with my brothers: Aaron HollerAnthony Perez, Jose L GarzaJuan Rodriguez, and Johnny Sobrevilla!”

Asalto added they are excited about their future business and musical endeavors, and they will continue to uphold their high standard of professionalism and quality of music. The band also said it will continue to strive to make timeless music along with songs that push the envelope for music evolution.

“Asalto believes that no person group or entity should remain stagnant and continue to grow both personally and professionally. We are eager to work with both past and present promoters, businesses, and all affiliations within the industry. Asalto will also continue to provide a memorable show for our fans at every performance,” the press release stated.
