Emerging artist Karla Christina premiered the official music video for her latest single, “Por Qué Me Fui A Enamorar De Ti,” a bolero cover of the song by Latin GRAMMY-winning Chilean singer Mon Laferte, which featured a Tropical sound.
The beautiful visual was filmed and directed by Baldemar Garcia of 1st Class Cinema and features Karla Christina dressed in an elegant black dress while belting out the beautiful bolero during a nighttime scene.
The Nevada-raised singer, who moved to San Antonio in January 2022 to pursue a career in Tejano music, performed an acoustic version of the song accompanied by Diego Garcia on guitar at The Chingona Party featuring Sonja De La Paz and Karla Christina in Laredo last summer. The performance received the attention of many radio DJs and persons in the industry, which led to the song’s production and release.
Karla Christina released her debut album Soñadora in January 2022 but debuted in the Tejano music scene in the summer of 2021 with the release of “Que Lo Sepan,” a song from The Espinoza Experience project from Florida-based producer Jonathan Espinoza.
