Madison Pulido is an emerging talent in the Tejano music industry, the young singer released her debut single “Porque Sera” earlier this year, which is currently rising on the radio charts. The vocalist stopped by the iconic Janie’s Record Shop during a recent trip to San Antonio and shared the history of the record store with her followers.
Pulido made her debut performance during Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair in San Antonio, Texas in March, and during her visit to the “Tejano Music Capital of the World”, she also performed at the newly renovated Janie’s Record Shop even christening the stage with a performance.

Pulido spoke with Robert Esparza of Janie’s Record Shop, the son of the late Janie Esparza, who passed away in September 2021 and learned the history of the record shop that has been selling all forms of music since 1985.
The video was released this week on the Madison Pulido YouTube channel just in time for National Record Store Day on Saturday, April 23, a day selected each year to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store like Janie’s Record Shop.
