CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Freddie Records announced the signing of Tejano music superstar Gary Hobbs to the iconic roster of artists on the legendary music label on Wednesday (April 20).
Hobbs is slated to begin production on his new album next week, according to Freddie Records in a statement. It will be the singer’s first album for the record label and his first new project in nearly two years
“We’re thrilled to welcome Gary to Freddie Records and look forward to some exciting new music coming from him very soon,” said the statement.
Gary Hobbs began his career in Tejano music in 1983 and over the years he has released some of the most memorable songs in Tejano music including “Las Miradas”, “Amame y Bésame”, “Te Vas A Acordar” and “Por Favor Corazón” to name just a few. His history of hit records, gold and platinum awards, industry achievements, humanitarian contributions, and hard work is legendary.
The most recent album from Hobbs, Lo Que Amo, was released in 2019.
