Katie Lee Ledezma — “La Mujer Paseada”

Award-winning Conjunto singer Katie Lee Ledezma returns with a new single, “La Mujer Paseada,” a song written by Gustavo Lugo.
“He has written songs for Paquita La Del Barrio ( and now he’s giving them to me,” Katie Lee tells Tejano Nation.
Lugo is a member of Los Señores Duendes De Control, a well known band from Mexico and actors in movies like Nostalgia Mexicana, Un Narco Arrepentido, Siete En La Mira amd the most recent El Rio Bravo, which includes Ledezma performing “La Mujer Paseada.”
The track was recorded at 421 Studios in Brownsville, Texas with Rudy Rodriguez featuring accordion from Gustavo Lugo and Walter Lugo, with Inocencio “Chenchies” Lugo on Bajo sexto, drummer “El Borrado,” and bassist Horacio “Klik” Cardenas.
Katie Lee added, “I am very grateful for the support these living legends have given me and I’m looking forward to a new music and project coming very soon.”
Ledezma has been singing Conjunto music since she was a young girl influenced by her father. The South Texas Conjunto Association‘s Conjunto of the Year winner for Promising New Artist in 2015 and Female Vocalist in 2016 and has performed as a guest alongside Conjunto legends including the late Gilberto Perez, Los Dos Gilbertos, Los Garcia Brothers, and The Hometown Boys.
