Tejano supergroupLa Fiebrereleased the latest single “Cuídala,” from their highly-acclaimed new albumHistóricofromFreddie Records.
The upbeat Tejano style ranchera was co-written byKelvin MejiaandEduardo “Yayo” Anguiano, who is currently one of the hottest young songwriters in Tejano. He’s recently penned songs forSiggno,Elida Reyna Y Avante,Lucky Joe, andMonica Saldivar, to name just a few.
The track was produced byMariano Herreraat the famedLegend Sounds Studiosin Corpus Christi, Texas, and features the instantly recognizable classic rhythm and the horn section of La Fiebre with tasty accordion fills.
La Fiebre consists of original founding membersRudy Rocha(guitars, background vocals),Luis Ayala(trumpet, saxophone, keyboards, background vocals), andJoe Angel Reynosa(bass, background vocals). The band also includesJ Angel Cantu(lead vocals),Julian Gonzalez(accordion, keyboards),Jonas Flores(trumpet), andJoe Lara(drums, percussion).
“Cuídala” is another outstanding track fromHistóricothat will definitely appeal to fans of La Fiebre’s classic Tejano/Rock of almost 35 years and continues to have one of the most loyal fan bases in the Tejano music industry.
