Longtime Tejano vocalist and entertainerBobby Pulido, who celebrates 25 years in the music industry, sipped a beer as he chatted with his fans Sept. 15during a Facebook live streamthat included a special anniversary concert announcement and an impromptu greeting from his famous father,Roberto Pulido.
Pulido, 47, shared personal moments and details with his fans, including how he was so nervous before he took the stage for his first-ever performance in East Bernard, Texas, that he vomited backstage. In a sweet moment, he also showed off his infant son, Rodrigo, who turns nine months old on Sept. 16.
Pulido was laidback and friendly as he openly shared his appreciation to fans from both sides of the border for their support throughout his 25-year career. He casually switched back-and-forth from Spanish to English as he answered questions from the fans and talked about various topics, including how he planned to return to college and his plans to become a lawyer if his music career did not succeed.
“I wanted to be a lawyer,” Pulido said, in Spanish. “I recorded my first record, ‘Desvelado,’ without really knowing what would happen.”
But as fans all know, “Desvelado” was a hit and the rest is Tejano music history.
On a more personal topic, Pulido even discussed how he overcame depression due to the pandemic and not being able to perform.

The performer then announced an Oct. 30 concert performance in Mexico City – without an audience due to the pandemic – that will mark his 25-year anniversary as a Tejano artist who has met with much success in Mexico.
The crooner’s father stops in for a quick hello during the live stream and the two, who obviously share a close bond, laugh and reminisce together.
Early in the video, Bobby watches a video made by his fans and gets visibly emotional as he talks about a fan who passed away recently.
