Neto Gutierrezreleased his latest single, “Chiquitita Linda,” from his upcoming debut solo album.
“It is a song I wrote about ten years ago and left on the back burner til now,” Gutierrez told Tejano Nation. “It’s a real simple cumbia and I wrote it with guys in mind that are just crazy about that one special girl.”
The original cumbia was produced byEddie Perezfeaturing a trio of talented musicians includingMario Ortizon keyboards,Chente Barreraon drums and Perez on bass, bajo quinto, guitar, accordion, and percussion.
“Chiquitita Linda” is the third single released from the highly-anticipated solo debut album from Gutierrez. He released “Eres Tu” in 2018 and a “Jimmy G Medley” dedicated to late Tejano iconJimmy Gonzalezin April.
“My CD is almost done, hopefully within the next month or so,” said Gutierrez.
The San Antonio, Texas native is a singer, songwriter and the former lead vocalist of Tejano Highway 281.
