Shelly Lares and Anjelique shared behind the scenes photos of the video shoot for their collaboration “Yo Te Extrañare” over the weekend.
The emotional song is the latest single from Anjelique’s album Proposito . It was a collaboration that means so much to many people.
“Thank you Shelly Lares, Jimmy Garcia, and Severo Contreras for making this song come to life,” Anjelique said. “I hope it brings closure and healing for those still struggling with a loss of their loved ones. They may be gone but never forgotten.”
Anjelique and Lares share a special bond as both singers recently lost their fathers, who were instrumental in each of their careers.
“This song is a beautiful one and one we can all relate to,” Lares said. “A special thank you to Anjelique, Sammy, Sweet City band for having me record this with them! I believe in them so much and it’s an honor to be alongside them!”
The official video, filmed by Ryan Bazan , is sure to be an emotional one, with photos of loved ones sent it by fans that will be shown in the music video.
“I can’t wait to share it with all our fans,” Anjelique added. “Once again thank you for all the fans sending in their loved one pics and a few letters I received with them made me cry and reaffirmed the power of this song and why I wanted to record it our style!”
No word on the released date for the official music video of “Yo Te Extrañare,” but Tejano Nation will have it as soon as it drops.
