Venus Williams won her first-round match at the U.S. Open yesterday. And I'm not saying this is WHY she won . . .
But her opponent . . . Kimiko Date-Krumm . . . had to deal with a pretty aggressive BEE that delayed the match for about two minutes. (Her name is pronounced "Kim-eh-ko Dah-tay Crumb.")
During the second set, the bee wouldn't leave her alone, and kept buzzing around her head. Eventually, two ball girls and a ball boy had to help get rid of it.
Which is when it got even funnier . . . because it was suddenly a whole GROUP of people trying to swat a bee, which eventually flew away. (Search for "Date-Krumm Flees the Bees.")
