Texas Music Shines with Latino Flair at 14th T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards

Arlington, TX — In a night celebrating the best of Texas music, the 14th annual T3R Texas Regional Radio Texas Music Awards not only honored the state’s top country artists but also shone a spotlight on the vibrant Latino music scene. The special presentation featuring Texas Latino artists was a highlight of the event, showcasing the rich cultural tapestry that contributes to the state’s musical identity.

Among the standout moments was Female Vocalist of the Year Bri Bagwell with her rendition of “Como La Flor,” accompanied by three-time GRAMMY winner Sunny Sauceda. Their performance was a heartfelt tribute to the late Tejano superstar Selena, whose legacy continues to inspire artists across genres and generations.

It was part of a special presentation from Texas Latino artists including Stephanie Urbina-Jones & the Honky Tonk Mariachi, bolero-mariachi singer Willie AlvaradoMatt Castillo, and Jenni Dale Lord, who dazzled audiences with a hot and spicy melody of Latin classics.

The T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards was a night filled with memorable performances and well-deserved accolades. The event was held at Texas Live! in Arlington, Texas on March 25, 2024.

The night’s big winners were Aaron Watson as Entertainer of the Year, Bri Bagwell won Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year with “Trenches.” Randy Rogers took home Album of the Year with Homecoming and Group/Band of the Year. Wade Bowen picked up three awards including Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year for “Lovin’ Not Leavin’,” and the Brandon Jenkins Songwriter of the Year award.

  • Album of the Year: “HOMECOMING” – RANDY ROGERS BAND
  • Music Video of the Year: “TRENCHES” – BRI BAGWELL
  • New Male Vocalist of the Year: RYDER GRIMES
  • New Female Vocalist of the Year: AMANDA KATE FERRIS
  • New Duo/Group/Band of the Year: LUKAS NELSON AND THE PROMISE OF THE REAL
  • Vocal Duo of the Year: AARON WATSON AND JENNA PAULETTE
  • Group/Band of the Year: RANDY ROGERS BAND
  • Male Vocalist of the Year: WADE BOWEN
  • Female Vocalist of the Year: BRI BAGWELL
  • Entertainer of the Year: AARON WATSON
  • Icon Award: KEVIN FOWLER
  • Humanitarian Award: PAT GREEN
