Harlingen, TX – CHR Records recording artist Hilda Lamas released the official music video for her catchy cumbia “Caprichosa.”

The video was directed by Jesus Vega and was filmed in Matamoros, Mexico, earlier this year.

“This was a super fun video to shoot. I had the opportunity to come out of my shell and show my sassy side,” said Lamas.

The song was composed by Pedro Marroquin and was produced by Tejano Roots Hall of Famer Rick Garcia. This is the follow-up to “Amor Condicional.” Both will be included in Lamas’ upcoming full-length Tejano album due out later this year.

Hilda Lamas comes from Latin music royalty as the niece of Mexican singer and actress Dulce La Cantante. Lamas has been making a name for herself with a musical catalog that includes bilingual music in Blues, Soul, Tejano, Country, and more. Lamas was named the Country Music Association of Texas 2021 Americana Artist of the Year and received the CMA of Texas Americana Song of the Year for “Esta Noche Ayudame” in 2022. Lamas spent last summer as a background vocalist for Disney “Encanto” actress and singer, Adassa.

Lamas’ current singles, “Amor Condicional” and “Caprichosa,” are available on all digital music platforms.
